"technology for the production of unique things"
How does it work? - technology features

Like any other technology, 3D printing has some limits.

Using FDM technology, molten plastic is applied and sintered in layers of 50-200 microns, so a layered structure is noticeable on closer inspection. The thinner the layer, the smoother the surface. But the printing time increases greatly. Look at the work examples in the photo, this is a standard layer 200 microns thickness. In many cases, for the production of auxiliary products - holders, grids, housings, containers, overflow grills and filters - it is perfect. Plastic can be different types and colors. Used the innoxious for aquarium inhabitants plastic types - PLA or PETG.

According to SLA technology, liquid acrylic resin is cured by a laser beam. This technology allows to create very fine detail in the product. For example jewelry models or dentures. The pay for such accuracy is the price. SLA products are usually more expensive than plastic ones.
